My Story
I was born and raised in St. Louis and have a deep commitment to supporting children and families in the community where I grew up. Before becoming a school psychologist, I was a special education teacher and professional dancer. My experiences have allowed me to create relationships with many schools and districts across the St Louis and surrounding areas.
Today, I serve as an Assistant Professor of School Psychology, where I teach graduate courses and supervise future school psychologists as Field Placement Coordinator.
I have held leadership positions in both state and national professional organizations, including the Missouri Association of School Psychologists and the National Association of School Psychologists. I have articles and research published both nationally and internationally, and have presented to more than 50 schools, districts, and professional associations across the United States.
When I am not working, you can find me spending time with my three kids (including twin toddlers) and our French Bulldog Waldo. I also love to travel, eat foods from around the world, and am a huge sports fan... GO CARDINALS!!
